I hope these guys release a new album in the future, perhaps one that doesn't sound like it was written within 20 minutes

If the album is better than the new game I will be pleased

I don't see them bouncing back, ever. I kind of see this album as an awesome mistake and some of that trickled down into their next release

I didn't like their 2002 release, though, forgot what it was called. The album's production sounded like it was recorded with a fucking fisher price toy or something

It sucked compared to this but I didn't think it was that bad on its own terms

Their second one is good.

Their second album was a little disappointing compared to this, but it was still good, songs like Skrying and (per)version of a Truth would all fit in well on this album. On Lost & Found they lost a lot of their charm, and became just another run of the mill metal band, but it was still good by "nu metal" standards. Their other two albums are complete shit though.

I think I might end up agreeing

I just listened to two or three tracks more from this and they are kinda eh, they sound the same to me.

They are catchy though, so I'll probably want to listen to them again at some point but idk if I'll bother downloading this unless they just get really catchy/addicting

That's how i felt when i first downloaded this album, songs like Dig and Internal Primates Forever just sounded like generic nu metal to me, and i didn't regularly listen to the album again for months, but when i did i started discovering the gems on the album.

Dig is the weakest one, is just a standard nu metal song. Nothing to gein, cradle, Pharmaecopia and severed are the highlights.

Nothing to gein is a personnel fave, them clean vocals at the start are great.
