Yeah seriously and Polymath I can rap every verse on 36 Chambers and Liquid Swords is still better. Easily.

Yeah obviously, comparing them is ultimately useless but I don't know, to me LS seems clearly better. I guess me liking those beats more is preference, but LS is head and shoulders above 36 lyrically. If you really look at them the lyrics in 36 aren't that great, it's more the energy, atmosphere, and the variety of styles. None of the MCs were in their prime on 36 except maybe Deck.

I kinda have to disagree because I love the 36 lyrics for what they are. They may not be serious but some of the shit they say is just awesome in my opinion. It's mainly a personal preference in the end. Listening to Gravediggaz right now that's whats up

GZA is obviously the best lyricist, but as a rapper he isn't close to most of the others. It all depends on what you look for most in a hip-hop album.

Raekwon's smoothness and storytelling do it for me. I can see GZA being a favorite for his obvious intellect and lyricism. I can also see Ghostface as a favorite for his attitude.

I'm pretty late on this, but I agree with this so hard. Fucking love Method Man.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure this has passed up Liquid Swords as my favorite Wu-Tang solo album.

Meth, Rae, Ghost, and GZA are all so close for me. They all rule.

And I think Meth completely kills it on Rae's new album.

yeah thats a great verse. i like him as a feature every now and then, or for hooks, but solo i kinda get bored every now and then (compared to other wu anyway).

I really love Tical. It's obviously not as good as this or Liquid Swords or even OB4CL2, Ironman, or Supreme Clientele, but I still listen to it pretty often.
