Ctts definitely gets too much hate as a result of MJ's presence here. Kinda ruined their rep. Not saying they are amazing but he was definitely overkill.

Gospel has one good album though.
and the fact that it's more of a mish-mash of genres is a huge strength, quality-wise, but definitely a detriment when compared to bands that really perfect the genre from within the genre if that makes sense

but I feel like you're just saying that because of the CTTS thing. and i have no qualms with that, I never found that record sacred. and sure he wasted a lot of time, but whatever he was still nice to talk to and could be mad funny at times

exactly. it just, personally, kinda turns me off from calling them a better screamo band than Off Minor, a band that's kinda pure screamo, or even Suis La Lune or City of Caterpillar for that matter

Seriously though it is killing me that my version of This is a Hostage Situation is quieter than all
my other songs. Anyone have a link to a version that's not like that they could give me? All the ~40-
41 MB mediafire ones I've come across are like that.
EDIT: Found one, but it's only 128 kbps. Which I can deal with but if anyone has a higher quality rip
of that song I'd love it.

I had the same problem TMobotron. I ended up having to adjust the volume on the song itself using Itunes.
I'm still probably going to redownload the album, it's really annoying.
