Half these comments are judging a band on their fan base, I can understand if you honestly dislike BMTH for their generic metalcore sound, but seriously at least it's generic done right. If that makes any sense. Just have fun when you listen to this album there are some memorable moments. Bring me The Horizon can be listenable in short bursts, but trying to get through this whole album is torture. I've actually been listening to For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only a lot lately.

Vocals are unique, Oli has a good range.
Guitar work is average, has some solid riffs but repition in other places.
Drums are interesting but not phenominal.
I have heard alot of their songs and I thought they were a good band. Not amazing, not new, just good.

That's like saying "I hate ZZ Top because their guitarist and vocalist has a really long beard." It's sad that some bands that are dubbed "scene bands" aren't given a chance because people go into listening to it with a closed mindset of "this is going to be terrible" before they even hear the first note or beat of the first song.

i heard the music before i knew what any of the band looked like or anything. still thought it was shit. it kinda feels like they are a bunch of kids trying to play death metal because they think its cool.
but its really nothing new or good that they play. its just generic shit with scratchy, dry vocals.

BringOn- I first wanted to listen to these guys when I heard they were doing a big tour with Architects, so I'd figured they'd be decent.
So without consulting sputnik's comments on the album I listened to abunch of tracks online and unbiasly dubbed the band horrendus.
Every element of this band is lacking from terrible teenage angst lyrics to very pathetic guitar work/solos.
These guys fully deserve every bit of criticism they receive.
