Pantera isnt thrash metal. They recorded only one thrash album(Cowboys From Hell), next albums were groove metal- Vulgar is the first in genre. It makes those guys inventors of groove metal !

Vulgar is a five star classic no debate what so ever.There is no metal album quite so like it before or after that there alone is the diversity everything from the low end chunk of mouth of war and walk including the brutally kick ass ballads this love and hollow even by demons be driven is totally underrated.
