conceptually they are boring? i'm not trying to sound sarcastic, but what about 7 (8 if you count Prize Fighter Inferno) albums who's entire lyrics encompass a huge, sprawling, sci-fi story are boring?
even if i didn't like coheed, that alone would make me respect them.

the story does nothing to draw me in, i have absolutely no interest in what happens to the characters or anything. just because it's a huge story doesn't mean it can't be as shallow as a puddle
