Hey man I never said I don't love their choruses, I only said they don't need to repeat them so often, they lose their novelty, the band should really tread through prog territory imo. And the new albums alright, still nothing radically different

Yeah yeah man. Never for a second thought you didn't like them. The 2nd part is where we kinda disagree but oh well! The next album has to be different from what they have done. Otherwise it will just be 11 songs added to their catalogue. I feel they have now exhausted their melodeth sound.

Hey we agree on something else, thumbs up. I think they should do a "heritage" type move, all cleans, some more clean guitar tones with more lush ethereal keyboard work.

Comes and goes for you? I am always in melodeath mood although for different bands. This week I am digging the hell out of In Flames, next week it's Insomnium, then DT and At The Gates. Still, I am always up for some melodeath.
