Crashed out on the sofa with this turned up and seemingly out of nowhere i've discovered a new found love for this album. I've always enjoyed this album but it just seems to have clicked with me now more than it ever has before.

Those clean vocals at the beginning of Face in a Night Time Mirror, Pt. 1 is one of the best parts about this album

I like all of their stuff even if there is no doubt that this is their best record
I know everyone here thinks Black Cascade is 'boring', 'uninspired' and whatnot but for some unexplained reason Wanderer Above The Sea of Fog still gives me the chills

I thought that it did so little instrumentally that is worth merit that it is almost pathetic. This,
on the other hand, has so many riffs that seem to seep atmosphere. The compositions are tighter,
focused, way more atmospheric, and walk that line between ferocity and melody so well that it is
essentially flawless.
Come to think of it I could 4.5 this.
