Alchemy Index isn't experimental music lmao. Maybe experimental for Thrice, but they're pretty straightforward, mostly boring

Thank you for that mind blowing contribution

"I pretty much have their entire Illusion to M/M stretch 5'd, so it's definitely all worth it"
How do I do a laugh emoji?

"Cool. I ordered both alchemy’s, major minor and beggars. I’ll hop on Ambulance and the two new ones next."
I would hop on Illusion and Ambulance before the two new ones. Those are definitely the weakest, along with Identity Crisis.

Honestly Thrice before Vheissu doesn't exist for me. Was super not into that scene. Don't think its bad, though.

So you’re saying that pre-Vheissu Thrice is an Illusion?
(My bad, haven’t had enough caffeine today)

Early Thrice is the best Thrice, but everything with the exception of the new album is mostly excellent.

My god, I am completely addicted to this album. I’m new to Thrice and this is the first time I’ve listened to them.
I love it so much that I’ve ordered their entire discography on CD. My question is...which ones do I listen to next? I was thinking MAjor Minor, then Beggars then Alchemy. At least to start.
What do you think?

That said, I’m so hooked on this album I’m having a really difficult time tearing myself away to listen to something else.
For Miles and Red Sky are so fucking powerful.
Shout out to Xingking for helping me out and recommending this band. Just imagine that I could have gone my whole life without listening to them.

If you ordered the whole discography, why not go in order? You'll probably really enjoy the Alchemy Index since it bears some similarities to this. TBEITBN is slightly reminiscent to this and Alchemy as well, albeit in a more straightforward and accessible way.
For Miles is tied for my all time favorite Thrice song, so that pleases me ;) happy to be of service!

Thanks man sounds like a good idea. Only one I didn’t order is Identity Crisis because I’ve heard it’s kinda lackluster. Will probably buy after I go
Through everything else though.
Yeah it’s funny. Initially For Miles (and The Earth Will Shake for that matter) were on my lower tier of songs here. They had to grow on me but now they’re two of my favorites.

Identity Crisis is super underrated, in my opinion. It's probably an acquired taste. They play two IC songs on Anthology though (the live album) and they sound so fucking good with Dustin's mature vocals and their lightly overdriven guitar tone from that era.
For Miles though. When that calm finger tapping hits and builds to that climax at the end? Goddamn!

How about MAjor Minor and Beggars? How are those In comparison to this?

Yeah man that climax is crushing, uplifting and beautiful all at once. How everything builds, crescendos and explodes. Pretty mind blowing.
What’s your other favorite song?
