They actually referred to him as David from Fear Before the March of Flames at the show. Agreed its the better name

Yeah, Fear Before doesn't have the same ring to it as their original moniker.

pretty sure the og name is the only reason I checked these guys back in the day lol

I thought it was so cool! (OR hot?)

...not sure I’d feel the same if I heard it for the first time now, but the music holds up incredibly!

User ratings looking like the album art, pretty cool.

Skimmed a few pages of chatter & yeah this reminds of The Shape Of Punk's experimentation & ambition but for post-hardcore. Genuinely can't believe how well this has aged too - it could've came out yesterday and still would've floored me. I like bits and pieces of the other albums, but this one is clearly doing something extra special.

Also little side-note, but David expressed interest in working with Atomic Rule, which is Andy's new band post-ETID. Haven't heard anything from Atomic Rule in a bit, but am hoping it happens. I'd love to hear him on something intense again. Last thing - it's super cool that Luther Manhole from Chat Pile loves this too, considering David's IG handle is "iamdognow"

20 years. What?! … hmm yeah that’s about right actually, damn.

It's a reach but David did make a public appearance in Denver w Teenage Wrist at the Poison the Well show last year. Maybe a tease to keep their name in the convo and get people hyped about a reunion

ugh, but this band is sooooooo much better / more important. In my professional and completely unselfish opinion he should quit BL and dedicate his life to Fear Before even if there's like an actual 1% chance of it coming to fruition!
