It’s a decent song but I’ve always felt this album would be completely perfect without it and Fugue.
They’re both good but again, they don’t fit within the context of the record at all imo

Because Limerent Death, Low Feels Blvd, Surrogate, Honeysuckle, Manufacturing Discontent, Nothing to Forget, and the title track are masterpieces and put other bands in the genre to shame.

Have a friend that isn't really big into music but he likes hearing what people are passionate about. Started nerding out about metalcore one day and he says he wants to hear what 'controlled chaos' sounds like. So I decided why not and played some Dissociation.
Guy starts nodding his head to "Limerent Death" and says he really liked it. I've made a successful conversion boys.

Gotta love all of those people that answer "oh I listen to pretty much everything" when you ask what their music tastes are
Mention anything metal-related and watch that statement shift real quick lol

Ahah
A friend of mine was not into metal and I managed to roll a joint and listen Option paralysis from front to back in the car and the dude loved it. There s still some hope...

“"oh I listen to pretty much everything"
this statement is the bane of my existence. Anytime I hear that I have the sudden urge to put on some extreme shit like Gorguts or some shit.
But I think it kinda works both ways. I dabble in some indie and acoustic rock with a little emo thrown in there but for the most part I only listen to metal and hardcore.

Yeah, people definitely abide by that statement. But many people don't and instead think that listening to rap and country makes them world travelers

Only genres I don’t care to get into is grind, Black metal and (some) country. Everything else I can at least give a shot and try it out.

@Uzu well I'm glad, it was a pretty heartwarming moment for me too. Very rarely do I connect to people in real life over music, so suddenly it was like a whole new world opened up to me haha.
Also @D3 I'm down for this Gorguts strat as well

"oh I listen to pretty much everything"
To this type of statement I just wanna grin and say to them, "Really? Do you really though?"

Then I try to have a conversation about music to these types of people, but how could I when they say this deceptive phrase but that haven’t heard of something as mainstream as, say, deftones lol

in this day and age 'everything' is pop, hiphop, edm and country; trap is today's punk.
