Do a lot of my listening in the work van as I do contract work for a lot of companies. Some of the regulars just assume whatever I am listening to is dm now; the manager of one company came and asked me the other day "listening to more of that screaming music again?". I was listening to Little Tybee.

I actually think this band has gotten better over time. I like this more that Outer, and I like Outer more than BF.



HOWEVER, I can see why people went ape shit over BF. I mean besides the whole thrash revival angle it was their first album. Talk about one of the best debuts in metal history.

Honestly though, for all I know, they listen to "actual" music on thier own and that's just the stuff they play when they're around other people cause they figure it's safe.



I have a buddy that did that, knew him for 2 years before I found out he listened to bands like Interpol and Bat For Lashes. Said he felt weird playing that kinda stuff around us I was like wtf but this is actually GOOD lol

Keyword there being HAD. We've all got our tastes but this guy was actually offended at the sound of the latter two bands' music and every time it came up he launched into a 20 minute speech about emotion and lyrics and free-thinking that just made no sense.

Kind of embarrassed to say that I hadn't heard about these guys until today. Better late than never, I suppose. This record is pretty great. I'll have to dig into their back catalog.
