I still debate whether a Living Things or Hybrid Theory is their worst. HT would undoubtedly be their worst but LT has the Rick Rubin treatment

I still debate whether you're mentally disabled or just stupid

i don't think that's even up for debate at this point

I thought LT was pretty good despite a few shit songs. Lost In The Echo, Castle of Glass and Powerless are some of my favorite songs by them.

actually yeah now I think about it those 3 are fantastic, but so much of it rubs me the wrong way to the extent that I hate the album

ATS is LP's best album tho

New sample sounds bad but ATS is the only LP album i really like anymore so i wasn't expecting much in the first place

Every new sample they've released makes me less excited and I like every record the bands has put out

"Every new sample they've released makes me less excited and I like every record the bands has put out"
so there's a chance it'll be good

"by far the least cohesive"
I'll defend ATS till the day I die. Were there one too may interludes? Sure. But as an album it's cohesive as fuck. It's flows seamlessly and The Catalyst works great as climax. There's a single underlying theme and songs like "When They Come For Me" are captivating and atmospheric as fuck.
Well wrote, well produced and well thought out. It just caught a lot of people off guard when it came out and people bashed it for not sounding like LP.
"Pop album confirmed"
Watched that video and didn't get that sentiment from it. Mike even said they could be the most weirdest songs they've made. They're trying new things every album and for that I commend them 'cause my God they could have played it safe and made Hybrid Theory over and over and over again and they would have made BANK.
There isn't even any music out yet so let's reserve judgement ey?

Have you even seen the new video featuring Rob doing the drum track for the song? It's practically Not Alone 2.0

"Have you even seen the new video featuring Rob"
Doesn't mean it's gonna be on the album. Wait 'till something is officially released. Sounded alright, more LT sounding stuff. I'm hoping for a mixture of THP and ATS.

Looked up the lyrics and info on the upcoming new song. Damn this looks like it'll be awful

They had so much potential to release something like this and hone their musicianship even further but nope they decided to jump on the pop bandwagon like a lot of their mainstream rock contemporaries, something entirely different than their approach here on THP

Goddammit, it's not looking good is it?

Actually the lyrics look really good. I might be the only one here that prefers the softer more experimental side of LP.
