This has their best song, The Fever, but there's something about NOTM that clicks better

Jenny Death will have to be amazing in order for that double lp to come anywhere near tms or exmil for me.

You've got this, Exmil and NOTM at 4.5, surely they can't be that far apart in your mind

Considering it's the last thing they're gonna release and they said that "we're at our best", I'm expecting something big.

Even if it's on par with NOTM, I'll be happy

Im looking for something a bit more grandoise tbh. Multiple 5-6+ minute songs would be nice

Something along the lines of Big Dipper or more of a Whatever I Want?

Big Dipper is my least favourite DG closer ever. Another track like Whatever I Want would be great though. or Artificial Death in the West

I Big Dipper was good, but maybe 3rd worst on the album. the end part just goes on for too long. Frankly, I can't imagine what they would do for another 6+ minute song

I personally think their strengths lie in the shorter tracks, but they've done it so much that I would be open to the idea of longer songs. Maybe not the ENTIRE Jenny Death though

Listening back to this, NOTM is way better imo.
This a lot more accessible, and it's still a solid record.
I do have some awesome memories with this album though, like going to pick it up the day of senior prom and me and my friends came in bumping this on full blast like a bunch of assholes.

Come on. Billy Not Really and Say Hey Kid are better than all but 2 or 3 songs on this

I dont think Say Hey Kid is better than anything on this tbh. I dont think youre taking into account how good MC Ride is on this album. The hellish rapping on these tracks completely demolishes the nursery rhyme delivery on Say Hey Kid.

Billy Not Really is a jam tho still

Perhaps, but the electronics are so strong on Say Hey Kid and the quieter and more creepy raps on it are just as good at times. I dont know, NOTM feels more rewarding

I prefer the more aggressive side of DG, so this album beats NOTM with relative ease. The "electronics" are just as strong for me on this album as well. Songs like Blackjack that are able to meld the aggressiveness with the glitch are just ace.

NOTM coulda approached the level of this for me if it had a few more tracks in the vein of Up My Sleeves
