You can say that revolver is the pinnacle of the early Beatles, the cut off is 66, because there is a clear line drawn there revolver and Rubber soul is the end of the early years, then 67 starts the late years with Sgt Peppers, the music is much more Psych, drawn out with imaginative lyrics.

Not saying The Beatles weren't important or innovative, just don't like their music from a purely subjective perspective. Personal opinions were allowed on sputnik last time I checked.
I mean yes, I do think that The Beatles' importance is usually overstated, but Scaruffi takes it far too far, the amount of hyperbole and even lies in his essay on The Beatles is ridiculous, especially if you see how high he rates bands like Jefferson Airplane etc. which share the exact same flaws with the Beatles. The truth lies in the middle if you ask me.

Well yeah, this is the only Beatles albums I find to deserve a 5 so I definitely do not think they're the best band ever and Paul and John are really overrated sometimes for me
