got stuck in construction traffic on the way to columbus, arrived five minutes before okkervil river went on. me and my friend went outside and around to the back of the building where patrick stickles + bandmates were huddled on a fire escape smoking cigs. we accosted them and spoke briefly about how we came from kentucky to see them and like their albums. patrick was like "that sucks, maybe next time you'll see us, but you can still see okkervil river" and i was like "nah, won't be doing that". then we left 'cause it was awkward.
