I do think Fly By Night is grossly underrated. Anthem is an absolute banger, Bytor was really their first progressive masterpiece and underappreciated at that, In The End is a gem, and lets not forget about the catchiness of the title track. There isn't a bad song on the album and the artwork rules.
But yes, that's a Caliggy take....

The Title track is such a cool weird track all things considered. Its reminds of what they tried to do on second half of Caress of Steel but executed way more competently. Xanadu and Cygnus absolutely kick ass.

Title track and Cinderella Man are the ones that were holding me back from 5'ing this. I still think the latter is the weakest track. Title track is great tho. In hindsight, it's such a perfect opener to the album.
Cygnus is a top 10 Rush track, maybe even top 5. Xanadu is up there too. I think Madrigal gets overshadowed by Closer To The Heart, but I might like it more tbh.

The title track isn't one of my favorites but it was certainly a highlight for me when they played it night 4 at Madison Square Garden, probably because they never play it
