i flew from new orleans to los angeles to see them. twice. the other time i saw them was in atlanta. if they ever play new orleans (they may have in the past but i wasn't into opeth at the time) i will be sooooo happy

i'd sit through (or just show up late) any number of shitty (granted i think mastodon are great but you get the point) opening bands just to be able to see opeth. they're just that good

they're unpredictable. sometimes bad sometimes great, you never know what you're gonna get. i'd say they're totally worth going to see, especially if you are a fan

everyone has their favorite opeth albums so its all good if you're not particularly digging this one. don't sweat it. the fact that you're jamming opeth in the first place shows you're doing something right
