This album is a hard 5 for sure, but I was pretty disappointed with the rest of their discography.

Maybe it's because I listened to this one first and the rest just couldn't live up to my expectations, but I think there are only a few really great songs on their two other albums. The rest are kind of average.

There are 12 great songs on this one.

This is certainly their best. Almost no contest, but I love all of their albums. Did you listen to their version of Keasby? I like it almost as much as this. Sometimes I prefer it, depending on my mood.

I listened to the Catch 22 version today and I wasn't impressed. But I only gave it one listen. Is the Streetlight version different?

I prefer Streetlight's, but if you didn't like Catch's, you probably won't like theirs. It's strange that you didn't like any of their other stuff though. Cheers for listening to them though.

I'll check out Streetlight's version.

It's not that I don't like the other albums, I just don't think they compare to this one. I'd probably give them both 3.5's. But this is all off just a couple listens each. Maybe they'll grow on me.

You may have listened to them in too close of proximity to this too. Everything is probably going to be slightly disappointing for a little while after this.

It is still the album to end all albums for me.

In case anyone cares about my opinion on this band, I've done some more listening.

The Hands That Thieve grew on me A LOT, to the point where I think it's almost as good as this. I'd give it a 4.5.

SitB is still just okay. Half of the album is great and half of the album is average. 3.5.

I listened to Streetlight's version of Keasbey Nights and liked it more than the Catch 22 version. 4.

I also really enjoyed their cover album. It also gets a 4.

All in all, this band kicks ass and I'm really glad I checked them out.

I care about your opinion mainly because you seem genuine. I like Somewhere in the Between a lot more than you do, but I'm glad you dig these guys.

What's your favorite song off this album?

I'm having a hard time choosing between We Are the Few and A Moment of Silence.

Probably Point/Counterpoint or Here's to Life. Tough as fuck call though.

A Moment of Silence is a strong contender too. Idk.
