Yeah I really expected that track to be a standout prerelease. Definitely not what I expected.

I enjoyed the title track live because it gave me a chance to catch my breath since not a single person in the audience gave a shit about it.

That's kind of hilarious, but kind of sad.

I felt bad for them in a way, because people started turning their backs and staring at their phones when they were going apeshit for every song prior (and after), but holy fuck did I need that break. I was supremely shitfaced and the first five or whatever songs just knocked me on my ass.

Damn that's just disrespectful.

Definitely one of the better live bands out there imo. Really wish they'd come to my neck of the woods sometime

I was jamming this hard when it came out but now I haven’t really wanted to listen to it since the hype wore off. Been mostly jamming WFCC

No one was on their phones at the show I saw, too much chance of violence.

I also got food poisoning and threw up before the show which was cool.

No one was on their phones until the t/t came on.

Cannibals is probably my fav here, nobody ever mentions it though... Sounds a bit too much like deathgrind for some perhaps?

I think the larger-than-usual variety on here is both its biggest strength and biggest weakness.

It was really refreshing to hear them try on new ideas, the album keeps changing things up and being varied and always kept me guessing what was coming next, and when listening to the album as a whole I always feel like it flies by really quick compared to some of their other albums of similar lengths.

However, as a consequence of this variety it struggles to establish a specific tone, and just when it seems like it does, some new style comes on and it goes somewhere else. As a result, the emotional impact of the album feels lessened compared to their previous ones.
