Well isn’t that a delicious sandwich! I’d eat that shit in a heartbeat. Yeah I meant if you’re trying to find albums in general without going through niche genre charts. But indie folk is one of the best under genres of folk (and one of the popular ones) so maybe I was actually in the wrong here.. thanks for correcting me anyways. 149 ratings (and also no reviews / yeah ok 4…) is still only double of what’s here so it’s not super known in general I’d say.

A delicious indie folk sandwich indeed! And while this one does have 4 reviews there it’s certainly not very well known still. It could blow up someday if the average stays consistent and it keeps gaining ratings like has happened with some random old shoegaze albums that made their way to near the top of that chart.

I did it again. Mixed up beaut’s with Sunhouse’s reviews. Haha. I really hope it happens someday. It certainly deserves to be more in the spot / sun light than it is now. Happy to see that Beaut is up there with it on the charts tho.

“If you like this a lot you should check out Gavin Clark’s compilation beautiful skeleton”
Yeah, got that as well. Some great tracks on it, but nothing will ever beat HardSun for me.

“Hard Sun” is amazing for sure, but “Bermondsey Stutter” takes the take as my fave Gav track.

Eyy this album is awesome. I think the stretch from 'Spinning Around the Sun' to 'Lips' is my favourite part, though I like all the songs here. 'Animal' felt a bit jarring on first listen, but it's growing on me already. Good stuff.
Also is it just me or does 'Swing Low' have massive trip-hop vibes?

Glad you like this Icebloom! It’s a true beaut. And indeed “Swing Low” has that trip hop vibe. There are a lot of cool little twists and turns here, it’s not always just straight folk/folk rock.

This is the light side of the Sput force
The dark side is people hounding me on a Coheed and Cambria thread
