It's not terrible by any means but there really isn't any groove or hook on it like every other song here.

That's kinda the point tho, not every song needs to be a banger. As a piece of brooding, ambient-tinged pop, it's excellent IMO. It's even better in the context of the album in that it contrasts with the upbeat tracks that bookend it, setting up the closer (discounting the bonus tracks) which probably wouldn't have been effectual without some kind of intermission before it.
