Sure its a great vocal album but that doesn't make it a great album. The fact that it's not as experimental as future Radiohead isn't what makes it inferior either (though obviously people judge it from a perspective of what they expect from the band that's just natural)
He's huge on Masters Apprentices apparently, named a song after em

Not to mention metal bands being influenced by the Beatles, Blink-182 fanboying over the Cure and Noel Gallagher liking Skrillex. Influence means shit-all these days

If Thom drowned in that goldfish bowl thing when recording no surprises the Buckley 5ists would be 5ing this for the 'feels'

I wasn't comparing the albums directly, just the idea that people would go into each with a certain preconceived angle and rate (or dismiss entirely) according to the angle.
They're just similar enough that if someone rated this a 2.5 and then Buckley a 5 I'd find that surprising is all.
It's not beyond the realms of my comprehension for someone to genuinely much prefer one to the other though, it's not against my life principles lol

I already 5 this for the feels.
Re Buckley, it's not unfair to compare Yorke to him because regardless of any influence their voices are not dissimilar.

(Nice Dream) is one of Radiohead's most underappreciated songs.
