Idk i gave up gaming like 2 decades ago, big sad
The one game I will say that I've played and thoroughly enjoyed since quitting gaming on the whole was Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I never beat the game, but it may very well have been technically the best game I've ever played

MGSV was great, but it always felt off to me compared to the previous MGS games. I guess part of that is probably due to Konami's meddling, but also, I never really envisioned the series going in a more open-world direction. Give me the 8-12 hour campaigns of MGS 1-3 over that anyday
With that said, I haven't really kept up with modern gaming much. I've mostly been playing older games these days, many of which are thankfully available on Steam. Just finished the Master Chief Collection recently (and beat them all on legendary!), as well as the Max Payne trilogy

^ 1 rules, but I think 2 was my personal favorite. It was so fun switching between Max and Mona throughout the story, and the whole tragic romance angle added even more weight to the plot imo. The only gripe I had was the shortness of the campaign
3 is great too, despite not really feeling much like a Max Payne game. Switching from Remedy to Rockstar for development is pretty telling, because the game feels more like a great Rockstar game than a great Max Payne game. But if you can overlook that fact, it's still an incredibly fun time. The gunplay in 3 is ridiculously satisfying
