One of my favorite animes. Not really familiar with the deep cuts, nor want to be, but it's such a great movie and love the idea that it inspired Kodama.

Same here, I've never been into Anime but his movies are on a whole other level. I was watching an interview where Neige said some of the scales he uses on Kodama are subtly taken from japanese music and you can actually catch it at times.
