finished it now. In general it feels like a mixture of malice and absent light to me. I find it hard to give a proper rating yet, since ms records usually take time for me to fully digest but all tracks are really good at least. the fall being my favorite so far. If I had to rank it into their discography it would probably end up somewhere between mirrors and absent light. Doesn't touch malice or controller since it lacks that cohesive atmosphere throughout and the interludes don't do much for me as of now. Stoked to see how this will end up after I listened to it more

Yea its hard for me to get a feel for the new one but it really feels like a lighter version of Absent Light to me with a few moments of Malice sprinkled in. When I say lighter I dont mean less heavy, but less dark.
