The Final Cut should probably have been Waters' first solo album but it does get criticized unfairly for it. Floyd obviously created their best material (Meddle through Animals) working as a band. The Wall and The Final Cut were quite simply lacking in that.

I have always hated the phrase "in the flesh". Actually, I have always hated the word flesh anyway. Just call it skin.

First track is pretty damn great

Album Rating: 3.5
I know. Tissue and all that. :/ It is just such an annoying sounding word.
Eh, besides the word, the first track is one of many reasons why I feel this is one of the worst albums I have ever heard.

| |
Album Rating: 3.5
If this is one of the worst albums you've ever heard maybe you should lower that rating then. 2.5 seems generous.

first song is pretty enjoyable imo
this is just an overly-long album with a half-hour too many of interludes
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.5
Exactly they really get it right with many songs on here, but the interludes are too plentiful.

Album Rating: 3.5
@Mongi I tend to temper my ratings. It is a 2.5, because I recognize that there is talent and competency at some points of this record, but the overblown nature of it makes it an honorary .5 for me.
