Screamo = when it sounds like someone being stabbed with a fork or the sound a cat makes when you accidentally step on its tail. It is often high pitched

Good harsh vocals = growls (winston mccall), demon voice (Ed butcher), war/battle cry (jesse leach), controlled aggressive "screaming" (Chester bennington), deep harsh vocals (Michael crafter)


I could give many examples of good harsh vocalists but converge is never one of them
