Alright finally listened to this. I feel like Body Behavior through the end of the album would be a 5/5 EP, but my eyes kinda shoeglazed over for a lot of the rest. I can see what people like about this album, but blackgaze just doesn't land that strongly for me.

yeah, that Slowdive comparison is hilarious. Benefit of the doubt removed forever more. I mean, it's not so much that they're stylistically different despite the faint gaze parallels, but their core song-writing principles are worlds apart

this album overall is still aggressively okay and trending downwards, so I'll quit while I'm 'ahead' because I can't see anything changing
