Hahah the winters have been really weird the last year because of climate change

It switches between very cold and lotsa snow to sudden mild temperatures, rain and melting of snow so im glad you experience somewhat stable weather on your trip. Saunas are so relaxing, man. In my town there are small saunas down by the water one can rent by the hour and switch between jumping into the cold waters and run back into the warmth of the saunas. I love it

This absolutely rips, shout out sputnik for introducing me.

No Gospel shows that Latin punk needs to be a thing. Salsa punk. Whatever. The Mars Volta are basically the only other band I've heard to go there (and Gospel, maybe, and ironically?). someone should run with it. No Gospel and Drunkship of Lanterns are just two perfect songs.

Yeah those bongos kind of juxtapose weirdly but beautifully in a way that makes it even more saccharine than it should be given the tortured wails that overpower it

Afaik Norway just has insanely expensive food and commodities, idk what housing is like really. Maybe the wage standard matches it

Yeah cost of living where I am is getting to the point where it is pushing me out but the interest rates are so insane that I can't really afford to relocate without putting myself at serious financial risk. $2700/mo mortgage in a small city outside of NYC where prices are just going up and up since people have flocked out of the city since COVID, unprecedented traffic conjestion in my area (took me an hour to go 4.6 miles home from my office last week, a drive that usually takes 10 minutes).

Plus the CEO of my company just left abruptly, and layoffs are imminent for the third year in a row.

I'm right there with you Ton'!
