Want to go to this so bad, but it's such a pain in the ass to get here if you don't have a car. Will likely miss, sadly. Weirdly enough I've seen all of these bands on separate occasions, but never together in one show.

Of course. Why come to Canada right? Fuck us I guess.

At least Australia has the excuse of being a godforsaken hellhole in the middle of nowhere. Us Canucks get diddlysquat despite being a godforsaken hellhole that's LITERALLY JUST SLIGHTLY NORTH of the world's undisputed number 1 hellhole - America: The Land Where Every Band Stops In Every City On Every Tour.

I mean christ on a fucking conveyor belt, they're peppered with stops in the bible belt but won't come to the neighbouring country where 99% of us can actually find Sweden on a map.

man ngl i'd be legit fucking pissed if i got tickets expecting converge and got modern in flames instead... could not be a greater gulf in quality between two supporting acts

No shit ^ honestly I'd rather hear silence for an hour rather than an In Flames set. And I say that as someone who has seen them as supporting act. Absolute garbage. Felt like a Nickleback concert. Two songs in and I killed my time in the smoke pit for the rest.

Faultless friggin smacks. Stocked to see these lads live soon

Seeing them in Denver. Fucking bummbed converge won't be on that show.

Yeah rip. Converge should have been on the entire tour. To get in flames instead is a total buzz kill

'honestly I'd rather hear silence for an hour rather than an In Flames set"

Yeah dude. I'm actually a bit pissed. Because the way meshuggah marketed this tour, made it sound like converge was on the entire tour. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like a lot of people got duped.

To be fair I'm sure the band members had very little, if nothing, to do with In Flames being their supporting cast. I'm they're fully aware of what a farce that band has become too, and their marketing management probably knows too.

"Because the way meshuggah marketed this tour, made it sound like converge was on the entire tour. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like a lot of people got duped."

The tour was originally supposed to take place around Feb/March with Converge supporting for the entire tour but one of the Meshuggah guys had a health issue and it got postponed to Sept/Oct. They announced a new supporting act(s) would be announced on a later date, and Converge ended up doing their own headlining tour in March/April instead.

Looks like Converge agreed to still do the north east dates but not the rest... prob due to having other commitments already. just an unfortunate situation where nobody is really in the wrong

Yeah it is a very interesting pairing. In Flames has 3x more spotify listeners, but is obviously nowhere near as dedicated as the Meshuggah fanbase... who are the exact kind of fanbase to know modern in flames is dog shit and probably boo anything they play post-2000 lmao.

And it will be 100% meshuggah fans / disenchanted converge fans as In Flames was not on the bill when 99% of people bought these tickets... not only does nobody want to see in flames but i'm sure there'll be a plethora of fans legitimately angry they are there lmao

The bass rumble in Light The Shortening Fuse is just murderously good.

But you can't deny that meshuggah and converge is an amazing pairing.

Jealous of those east coast folks who will see that.
