It sounds kinda different but it all comes back to the boring wannabe shoegaze half core-ish shit that this is to me. I'm just not a fan of the entire sound tbh lol.

New single rules, turns out it's the same song they've been playing on the Spiritbox tour. If they (somehow) release a new album this year to coincide with the new Sleep Token record It'll be a massive year for baddiecore gooners.

"lol has this band finally learned how to write a song"

nope just go listen to The Hollow Hour by Rolo Tomassi for a better written longer song in this vein

Yeah I’m actually quite impressed by how “different but same” this new track is. Really digging the production.

New one is interesting. Was it my car speakers or was it ALL drums? I really like the sound of the kick drum but it just felt very drum centric and aimless and unfocused? Maybe a grower, headphones will decide that.

God the new track slaps so hard. I really hope that there’s an album announcement coming up soon, but I’m keeping my expectations low on that front

Wow much proggier than I would’ve expected, sure as hell didn’t expect a long guitar solo to end the song lol. Diggin it

Production is so fucking on point. Agreed with steak, they’ve almost completely dropped the Deftones worship and it’s the best thing they could’ve done.

New single is pretty nice yee, feels like a decent enough departure from the last album without reinventing their sound. Also doesn't seem to sound anything like or have anything to do with Deftones or Rolo Tomassi, weird.

idk why he loves bringing up bands that have absolutely nothing to do with the one we’re talking about… they’re both British core bands I guess?

I’ve listened to Time Will Die and Love Will Bury it probably a hundred fucking times and this track sounds literally nothing like any song on that record. I think the Rolo pull was just to show people that he does in fact listen to good music sometimes
