The end of Cattail Down might be one of my favourite moments of music ever.

yeah, Cattail Down was one of the most memorable parts of their show when I saw them last. Next to closing with In a Sweater Poorly Knit, Aaron taking his shirt off, and Foxing getting on stage to help sing and provide extra instrumentation

Holy shit I'm jealous (they played in the Czech Republic only once, my friend saw them and showed them to me and that's how I became obsessed by mwy, but still haven't seen them live)

I only ever saw them live twice (neither time as a headliner) so I'm not all that well-versed on what their live favorites are, especially from It's All Crazy because both times I saw them preceded that album

yeah Timothy was a banger when I saw them like four years back. Someone yelled at them to play something from A--B Life and Aaron said "we're not that band anymore." Two songs later they played Silencer. It was amazing.

Goodbye, I was fantastic live, especially that drum breakdown and lovely riff that come in before the "Come tortoise standing still, go hummingbird my will" ending

When I saw them a few days ago, on Halloween, Aaron's shoe came off at some point, and then he used it as a prop during A Glass Can Only Spill What It Contains. During January 1979, someone in the crowd frisbeed a samurai hat on stage, he caught it, and then put it on as he went nuts toward the front of the stage.

'and Foxing getting on stage to help sing and provide extra instrumentation'

Funny you say that because I talked to Connor (Foxing) Sunday night for a few minutes after Smidley's set and told him how much I appreciated him collaborating with them last time I saw them play together. He mentioned that he wished there were more opportunities for that sort of thing and that he wished he had brought his trumpet.

Would it be blasphemous to make a playlist of this album that includes august 6th right after winter solstice?
