Can't wait to see these guys tonight.
I definitely see the point that these guys have moved past what can simply be called death metal now. It's definitely still a part of their sound, but the riffs are so far from standard that they should probably be called something else at this point.
Definitely an interesting discussion, even if it ultimately doesn't matter too much since the album rules.

Yeah took me a while to gather my feelings on this but after talking about it in relation to the reasons I love their other albums (aside from Vermis which suffers similar issues to this), I realised I'm not enjoying it as much.
