I don't know how I had this at a 4 all this time. I feel like this one of their best for sure and is almost encroaching 5 territory.

Good shouts, good shouts. Bird and Snake probably takes it overall for me. Lyrics even sounds like Dustin wrote them.
Need to listen to more Gates apparently

i was curious how they sounded live and man they sound great. like phenomenal. thought it'd be hard to pull off a song like that live but they absolutely nailed it.

I saw them once back when Types and Shadows came out and Steve sounded better than the album I swear. Nick's mic was cutting out which sucked but he's a beast too

It’s still wild to me that All Hail and especially Polar Similar have the same avg as this because I really think this is the best of their more “modern” era by a decent stretch.
Like borderline 5 imo and those other two don’t even come close to that

They both have some heaters but this and Redeemer are really the only times they’ve been consistently amazing across an entire record to me.

Listening to this for the first time in a while. Still a stone cold classic.
I still love the line "On that empty street corner, I'll keep walking. I will leave you behind."
