You have to remember that the only valid emotion in music is sadness. :-P



It’s not even just about emotion though - this music fails to transport me anywhere, to conjure up anything; it’s just noise.

Pixies aren't emotional for me, they rock out, transmit a raw sexual thing a lot of the time, and have very untraditional lyrics for a rock band. Plus they have the whole Hispanic thing. They cool. But floods of tears and butterflies in muh tummy? Nah.
