Dude, oldest Alcest release is 2001 I'm not THAT much of a whippersnapper lol.
On the flip side, first time I jammed Alcest was Souvenir when it came out (and didn't like it until 2 years later like a noob) so you may still have e a point.

Agree bout Voyages, it absolutely felt like the B side of this, and not a terribly good one at that. There's a couple of tracks there I love to death though, otherwise it's 2.75
Everything I've heard from the new one sounds fantastic

I thought Voyages was really good but it did feel a bit forced like Kill said at times and wasn't very consistent. Shelter was okay but mostly boring to me, a bit too one dimensional.
