Ticked Islay off the bucket list when I was in Scotland. Place is almost as beautiful as the whisky.

Bruichladdich PC8 is the masterpiece I would select to accompany this masterpiece.

not familiar with that one (seeing as i've never actually been to islay) but if money was no option i'd spring for a bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail every time

A damn fine choice, sir. I can't decide whether that or Corryvreckan is my fave Ardbeg. Both are

Devine. Alas, price is indeed a rather inpenetrable barrier on an average payday (I believe the

current bottling of PC8 goes for in excess of £100).

one of the few downsides of drinking scotch, im usually forced to stick to blends, though JW black label is better than some single malts to be fair

I used to be a big fan of JW Black as a quaffer - not so much nowadays. I do rather dig Green Label though, so I sometimes pick that up when it's on special. Both are generally pretty dare here, though, so I usually end up degrading myself on Dewars or Whyte & Mckay, or the like. It's definitely going to suck getting back off the peat monsters, which I have to now I'm back in the colonies, with the ridiculous markups.

On a semi-Alligator note, my All the Wine tribute team in fantasy prem league is off to an all too familiar shocker of a start.

This and high violet would be my favourite national but 'I need my girl' and 'mistaken for strangers' are their best songs so who knows what's going on really

High Violet is almost on par with this. Boxer hasn't grown on me to the extent of those two yet, but its cool so far. Runaway is probably my favourite of High Violet atm, but it changes a lot. Abel could be my favourite on here right now, but idk :S

I feel a strong urge to 5 both this and Boxer. They are all on par with HV which I already have 5'd. TWFM, now that one I doubt will ever be a 5 for me.

JW green is fantastic but is incredibly hard to find in the UK. one day i dream of being stupid enough to shell out for the blue...

a team name that good deserves to be higher, but as i'm topping the table i'm not gonna complain too much...

I felt like I hadn't noticed Green on a shelf for a while.. Turns out it is no longer produced. Can't

believe I didn't know that.. Back to the drawing board for a good blended drop I suppose.

I've wanted the same thing regarding Blue for some time.. Alas, I don't think I'll ever justify

it over a poncy Islay number in the same price range.
