They’re playing arenas and shit off their linkin park sounding stuff, absolutely no chance they put out a new “heavy” record tbh

Idk about that. They were a mainstream corporate Target store sponsored band when There Is A Hell was released and the album before that was Suicide Season. So Suicide Season made them mainstream

I love such threads where I can learn all of this bullshit I wasn't around to remember.
I've seen a decent amount of speculation that Post Human 4 is going to be deathcore. Would be fun if true, not too unlikely, even though the series is okay as it is.

Wouldn't surprise me too much at this point, or even just like a four song EP of new deathcore material just to cash in on the revival without disrupting the stadium era arc.

Even the Suicide Season tees used to be pretty popular back in the day.

Idk they’re 2 for 2 with the singles. I still am not like blown away by those songs but they’re, by a decent stretch, better than the originals imo

I'm really excited for this. Yeah the new version of Black and Blue was overproduced but the original was underproduced, I would have preferred a middle ground but it's still very enjoyable and I'm just happy to see them embrace the songs that made me a fan in the first place.

Pray for Plagues is one of the era defining tracks so I'm excited to hear it.

how are they better than the originals in anyway? if you like modern overblown electronic production sure, but seriously just can't comprehend the hype. especially on here where that kind of production is torn to shreds.

@futures
Idk what it is man, I see what you mean, but I don’t really find it like, egregiously overproduced, it sounds pretty good to my ears but I come to expect pretty sanitized production from them.
