because i'm broke and my parents aren't even going out of their way to find one until i call my psychiatrist from school to get a recommendation (i've tried him 10 times and haven't gotten a fucking response)

makes no sense to get one anyway when your depression is so uncontrollable and spontaneous that you feel perfectly fine when you walk in and walk out feeling like complete garbage

damn... that's a cumbrous situation. i would try to really delineate your circumstance to your parents. you're unable to get this recommendation and your mental state is deteriorating as more time elapses. put pressure on them to help you out. there should be some local counselors or psychologists in the area that accept your insurance. but yea, since you're prob on your parents insurance u will need to coordinate with them.
