“This annihilated my replay/wrapped”

Same. I had over 5000 minutes in it and my number 2 had like 2300. It blew everything else out of the water. I think I’ve come to the conclusion that Sunbather is my favorite album ever (yes, I know I’m weird and stupid), but I think in time this could absolutely become amongst my favorites as well. It is unbelievably good and I’m quite shocked it really hasn’t done extremely well in rankings. Like it’s often mentioned but not much and toward the bottom. Maybe it’s just the genre it’s associated with. I’m absolutely floored at the amount of albums people mentioned like one time and never talked about again making it to many journalists’ tops (Los Thuthanaka, aya, Oklou). I like that Los Thuthanaka and Oklou albums but couldn’t get into the aya one at all. But I wouldn’t put any of them in my top lists, let alone near the top

Bermuda rules hard. I do understand OCHL hate but i do love Honeycomb and Canary Yellow

OCHL was something I 5’d when it first came out but then a little later it just kinda grew off of me pretty hard. It still has some good tracks and it’s a good album but it’s my least favorite of their music though. Kinda glad they’re done with that experimental phase. And like I said, The Garden Route pretty much sums up that album in a dense package and it’s overall done better than most every track on OCHL

Yes this has done alright in rankings. Probably best a black metal album can doc and I’m sure it’ll be #1 on here. But it’s getting beat out by those I mentioned and like Rosalía and such. But I guess they’re sticking with the more accessible albums. But whatever I’ll just say it’s easily the best album this year and move along

This was my number 5 most listened to album. New Deftones owned my wrapped. Most listened to album, most listened band (I’m in the top 1% of global fans), and 5 of my most listened to tracks were from Private Music as well.

Same. I loved it when it came out, it was my AOTY but when i listen to it now it does nothing for me. Maybe because at the time it was my escape when I was depressed and hating living in Vancouver and now it reminds me of that.

I had the worst time of my life in 2018. I was diagnosed NPD last year. Every problem I thought I had that year was my own. It was a good album at a bad time. Still the album kinda sucks tho. I’ve been revisiting them this last year and ya no Sunbather, New Bermuda, Infinite Granite, and Lonely People With Power are it

That album just reminds me of getting into therapy which was the best thing for me… but yeah the album still sucks. But thank you tho.

I still think The Marvelous Orange Tree is the most metal slowdive song ever. And a metal souvlaki I’ve always wanted
