Real talk to you guys feel that bands can become too political to the extent that their music suffers? I know some genres are based around politics and revolution but I still feel that the compositions should always be the prime focus. I heard a crust punk album a shine ago and it has these long acapela rants and I feel like they should’ve written a book or start a podcast or something if they wanted to express their views more uninterrupted because it broke up the flow and sounded goofy
