game over also transitions into cosmic quite beautifully... a one two punch like that could easily close their main set

Switch buried alive for Beautiful Morning and A Little Piece of Heaven for Cosmic and that’d be perfect.
If I really wanna stretch take out Hail to the King and Nightmare and play some deep cuts. The only singles I really wanna hear again are The Stage, Afterlife, and So Far Away anyways.

Well shit, if they added Beautiful Morning and Cosmic, might as well add Easier and you have the entire record.
They really should play the whole thing. Rare situation where it actually works.

would be pretty cool if they opened with this entire record then played some hits.

What? The vocals are horrible. Same problem DT has tbh.
If it wasn't for the vocals, this album would be a 5 for me.

DT has great vocals. As does Rush, and every other band that filters plebs with their vocals.
|

Ain’t no plebs anywhere. We’re in a time of peace

relationship ended with farrah abraham now m shadows is my best friend

Listened to this again and there’s really a bit of everything.
Some of their typical sound but honestly not that much. There’s some showtune/vocal jazz stuff, some bungle, some jazz, some funk, some prog, some daft punk/808s influence, some classical, some jarzombek/spiral architect type angular guitar work, some grunge, etc
Definitely give them props for ambition and scope, and syn keeps them dialed into their trademark harmonies as they jump between styles
