yeah, it and Get Right make a good back-to-back pair. The stuff before Pass the Baby and after Get Right do not.

dear hunter shame > [2]

but JEW's Shame is great as well

just heard in some interview that they accidentally ripped off some other song with Jen and that's a huge reason why they didn't include it on Futures

also it's not great, so that worked out well enough

it would have fucking ruined this album if it was on it so yeah good thing

Shame is good, the verses are vintage Jimmy but the chorus doesn't really do it for me, not super upset it didn't make this album or anything

okay I take back what I said about Pretty Grids and to a slightly lesser extent, It Matters.

Pass the Baby is straight up not a good song though. How do you guys not cringe at those lyrics? If it didn't have the riff at the end, I'd be willing to bet there'd be no one talking about it as a high point, and one kinda unexpected tagged-on riff does not a good song make.

the lyrics are great. the riff isn't even what makes it a talking point for me, it's the atmosphere of the first half and the build-up, so you're wrong on two counts there

i feel the same as rowan. the electronics and atmosphere is what makes it
