Garroter is super weird for them but for me it works. A very welcome exploration of a new direction in the middle of an album that was doing exactly that in the first place.

I can’t connect with The Garroter either, though the intro and outro sections are nice. That and Charlatan are the only two duds.

Yeah the closer is my next least fav. Nothing particularly wrong with it but not a standout or anything. I think Continuum would’ve made for a great closer.

Sorceress, that's pretty much it haha.

That's my least fave Opeth album, that track is the only one I genuinely dislike though.

Just think a lot of the tracks off that album album are bland.

Watershed rules yea, such creepy, eclectic vibes it has. Recently decided I loved it slightly more than Heritage.

Honestly my least favorite song by them would also be Sorceress not counting this album cause I like Charlatan and The Garroter even less.

Cusp of Eternity, Goblin, By the Pain I See in Others, and Slither are pretty meh imo but I can’t say any are bad. Though there’re plenty of individual sections I’m not crazy about, mainly throughout Sorceress, and some parts of this and PC too.
