I’d revisit it with some context on their discog. I mean I’m a simp for these guys but SWB really does have some of their absolute best material. It is one of their sleepiest though so you have to be really on board with that.

As I fell in love with alligator pretty fast I feel like I should give the rest of their stuff a re-listen in anticipation that I'll prefer it a lot more a few years on.

got about 6 songs and i can't even. not gonna drop because these songs aren't *bad* and the band are too damn competent, but damn i won't plan on jamming ever again

Absolutely agreed. I'll Still Destroy You is one of their best ever but the longer songs are just painful

Nope, SWB is their best closer and Walk It Back is fucking incredible

I love tf out of this band but some of the instrumentals on this album in particular just end up feeling generic. Like I felt like I was in an All State commercial a couple of times. It's still really good, just quite disappointing for a National record imo.
