lol, and I was kinda miffed about the 50 € price tag for the show in cologne, but I guess that's a whole lot more reasonable than 250 quid.

Pleased I've already seen them twice - looks unlikely it'll be easy to do so again, that's damn steep.

Esp for a band I think are 'over their peak' and on the slow decline.

"looks like they're pretending this one didn't exist lol"

with those off-kilter effects used in the single, i would say they're not.

Sounds like they’re doubling down on the things that didn’t work on this one going by the single

Not saying that would necessarily be bad - might as well go ‘all in’ with that approach, some good songs could come out of that :/

Less songful, more shlock n’ sharts

yeah fair I was exaggerating a bit but lyrically it seems like they're more continuing from TWFM and the fact that they're finally recording Rylan/the references to Hard to Find makes it seem pretty clear that TWFM was on their mind

anyway yeah I go back to Nobody Else and Walk it Back a lot but the rest of this was a bit of a damp thud agreed. tracklist is an absolute shambles which doesn't help

Walk it Back and t/t were two of the best on the last one and the most experimental - if the new single was as good as those I’d be stoked.

It’s cute that you all pretend that this isn’t just as perfect as the previous four albums.

It has a few weaker songs in the middle sandwiched together and that's too hard to ignore - so it cops a .5 docking

Born to Beg/Turtleneck is the worst combo of songs in the discog for sure. hilarious misfire
