to Ov's point, this is one of a handful of death metal (ish) bands that I consistently enjoy, the others being Kalmah, Revocation, NeOb, and Gojira. which each only have one foot in death metal to begin with.
Yeah the only one of those I'd consider death metal at all is Revo.

These guys were great on Friday. Still blows my mind that they sound that massive as a three piece.
Strongest metal band going.
Ov isn't wrong that these guys have moved further away from their death metal roots, but to say there are no DM riffs on here is quite a stretch.
I don't want them to keep doing the exact same thing anyways. EiF is already perfect and Destroyers isn't far behind, so why do that again?
Personally I'd like to see them bring in another guitar player again and move into new territories on future albums.

I was them on Saturday and they didn't actually play their encore. Seems the sets were running a little behind and they just walked off stage and started havin drinks and everyone left lol.

@Recreate, same for the Boston Show. Dead Oceans is my 2nd favorite song so I was bummed, but I got to chill with Jamie afterward and talk drum technique so I got over my disappointment in a hurry.
