The Thing That Should Not Be has one of my favorite Hetfield vocal performances, especially on live in Seattle. The way they escalate is pretty sick: Dark deception kiiiiiills the liiiIIIIIGHT
Such a dark and menacing track, I can't believe people think it's a low point on here.

That's the general consensus, just as almost everyone seems to think that Escape and Trapped Under Ice are the weak links of RTL, but not everyone shares the same opinion. That song is a personal favorite for me as well.
