The epic guitar solo in the quieter part of Lady Fantasy makes me weak in the knees.

And a truly marvelous instrumental at that. But of course everything that there is to Lady Fantasy is a marvel.

That and Lunar Sea are heavenly closers.

That they are indeed. Both close off their respective album in the best possible way.

I had to bump this down to a 4.5.

Moonmadness is just so much better in comparison.

By objective, I mean not handing out as many 5s basically.

It's not really objective though. Idk what else to call it.

Yeah. The production, vocals, and the songs on Moonmadness are a lot better but that still isn't saying much. Both are amazing albums.

Holy shit, Nimrodel/the procession/the white rider makes everyone trip balls, espeacially that solo at the end

I think Freefall is my favourite because of the solos and that awesome jazz part.

Nimrodel is probably my second pick.

Try A Farewell To Kings/Hemispheres by Rush next. Early Rush is heavier than a lot of their prog contemporaries so for someone who likes m/ they're the perfect place to start

@Eunuch Nice. Mirage is a good starting point. Listen to Rush, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, and Jethro Tull. Any of their top rated albums are classics. We got lots of prog fans here so if you comment on any well-known prog album we'll come check up on you :]
